There are two things that are making it not very helpful to us:

1. The ordering of the transactions. Is it random? Ordered on some internal ID? How about doing it the same way the storage page works - alphabetically on Friendly name?

2. In my test transaction with two payments, one of them failed. It didn't say why nor any suggestion on how to correct it leaving me to enter it by hand. How about a more verbose error message?

#1 is the deal breaker; #2 (assuming it happens rarely) is a nice-to-have although from a usability perspective it's considered a "critical" flaw.

Thanks,

Brian
E-Mail Notification

Your sales literature says we can now get e-mail notification the day before recurring transactions are processed, as well our customers. It would be useful if either a) they were included so we can review the complete status of the batch or b) the various statuses were optional so we could include them. We frequently want to compare the overall size of the batch to what we expect it to be and without the on hold transactions we can't see them all.

Brian

Stored Transactions

We can no longer use our stored transactions with the new system. Having found our stored transactions, we can not submit them. I have added permissions to the submerchant in question in order to submit stored transactions but I still receive the error above. I see you posted to sscruise that a new release was to go live two days ago. I have not seen any posts yet indicating that it has indeed gone live nor that the problem is fixed. The online help now seems to be gone from the site as well.

I'd be curious to hear if any usability audits were performed on this new release. With the heavy reliance on .net postback javascript, we can no longer open up links in new tabs/windows successfully. This is inconvenient at best.

I see in your response to sscruise that you indicated substantial testing was performed prior to putting this version live. Working in the internet application industry, I can appreciate when bugs make it into final releases. It does seem unacceptable that such a straightforward workflow such as "login -> storage -> submit stored transaction" does not work out of the box.

These are customer payments we're talking about; flexibility in delivery is not an option.

Brian
Figuring out my deposits

I know what fees I am supposed to pay, and I know how much I send in.

I cant ever seem to get my bank deposits and to match my math.

Is ther a report that tells me how much you keep out of each days money?

Support staff regular hours

This forum is monitored full time from 6:30am to 6:00pm Pacific Time on banking days by our support staff.
